Based in Kripalu Yoga in the Schools, students will learn the fundamentals of self-awareness through yoga, mindfulness, and resilience practices that can be applied to everyday life. Themes include: understanding aspects of personal experience, managing the stress cycle, self-care to de-stress, and self-observation without judgement. Each class includes a lesson, yoga practice, and a self-management skill. Students will receive take-home materials and accompanying videos to support establishing self-care routines. This class will empower students to learn yoga and mindfulness while learning about themselves in the process.
