9 Keys to Perseverance: It’s best to always have a clear plan

There is an old proverb that states, “Fall seven times and rise eight times. Life begins from there.”

That is perseverance, a combination of endurance and determination. Every one of us has shown a high level of perseverance at some time in our lives. If you can walk, you are a true example of perseverance. Think about it: when you were a baby, you didn’t just one day decide to quit crawling and start walking. Between trying for the first time and finally walking, what did you do a lot of? Falling! During this process, did you ever once think, “If I can’t walk by tomorrow, I’m going to quit trying?” No, you kept trying until you could walk. There was never the least bit of doubt about whether you would be able to, it was just a matter of how long it would take.

In life, you have to try your best to have a clear, simple plan for what you really want. The clearer and simpler, the better! A plan is a road map to achieving what you want, and it is composed of goals (stepping stones) in order to get there.
